The last week and a half your wonderful children have been learning about the process scientist take in order to complete an experiment. Today in class they were able to be a scientist and design an experiment to see which coin; penny, nickel, dime, or quarter would hold the most drop of water. Our day in the life of a botanist
6.L.1.1 Summarize the basic structures and functions of flowering plants required for survival, reproduction and defense.
A Botanist is a person you studies flowers. In groups they "dissected" flowers in order to see all of the reproductive organs. They had to identify each part of the flower and make a scientific observation as if they were a scientist. They had a blast and were wonderful Botanist. Hope you enjoy the photos!
